Civil War opener postponed by tragic accident
An accident that clamed the lives of two persons in the pit area Saturday night caused postponement of the California Sprint Car Civil War Series opener for 2013.
The car of Petaluma Speedway champion Chase Johnson crashed during hot laps. His car hit and killed two people in the pit area. Long time driver and car owner Dale Wondergem and Marcus Johnson were killed.
